Sara Enright

RN

Sara Enright joined Noah’s Children in March of 2020. She spent most of my career working with children and families in the Pediatric ICU of St. Mary’s Hospital. She had the opportunity to work with Noah’s Children in the past and really admired their commitment to supporting these patients and families not only during hospitalization and crisis, but also throughout their day to day lives. Sara Enright considers it an honor to be a part of this compassionate team and the sacred moments that our patients and families share with us.

Sara graduated from the University of Virginia in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and archeology, then returned to school and earned her associate’s degree in nursing from J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College in 2006. She completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing in December 2019. Her background in anthropology makes her especially interested in the social and cultural aspects of pediatric nursing care, especially palliative and end-of-life care.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and daughter, whether at home or exploring parks and historic sites. She loves to garden and enjoys nature and daily walks to the lake near her home. Sara says she has a menagerie of one dog, three cats, four fish, and two hermit crabs at home.

She would like our patients and families enrolled with or considering enrollment with Noah’s Children to know that “they are never alone, our team can provide the support they need to achieve better quality of life for both patients and their loved ones.
