Meghan Rush

Chaplain

Meghan Rush joined the team from the Spiritual Care Department in April 2023.

Meghan was drawn to the sacred and compassionate nature of Noah’s Children. She believes that no family or sick child should walk this path alone.

Meghan has her Master’s of Divinity from Union Presbyterian Seminary, and Master’s in Patient Counselling from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). At VCU she served as one of the unit chaplains for NICU, PICU, Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, and Palliative Care. Meghan has worked as a chaplain and a family minister for many years at varying locations, most recently she worked with the Bon Secours adult hospice program.

Meghan is passionate about her dogs, walking and playing with them brings her great joy and peace. She is also a “thrifter”, likes to find vintage and unique items, while also being a self-taught sewer. And when she has free time she likes to be out on the water in her kayak or enjoying a SCFY tv show with her husband.

As the chaplain it is my honor to be able to spiritual and emotionally support our families. We understand that making the decision to enroll in Noah’s Children comes with complex feelings, you are not alone, the Noah’s team will be with you during very step of your path.
