Beena Parekh

Social Worker

Beena joined Noah’s Children in 2023 but has been with Bon Secours for 23 years, working with Adult Hospice and Palliative Medicine.  She has seen Noah’s Children grow over the years and heard about the organization’s wonderful work.

Beena retired from work but heard that Noah’s Children needed part-time Social Work assistance and decided to work with the pediatric population. Beena is learning from the resiliency of the Noah’s Children families. While she doesn’t have all the answers, she is hopeful to be a support to families.

Beena has a passion for working with people, especially those who may have complex needs. She has experience working with grief and loss.

Beena has a Master’s in Social Work, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and previously worked in the Mental Health Field as an outpatient therapist.

She loves the outdoors, hiking, biking, and exercising. She enjoys traveling and reading fiction books.

Beena would like to share the following with families: “You are my heroes; your dedication, love, and perseverance for your children is something I admire. I am honored to meet you and your children and thank you for trusting us to be a part of your team.”
