Donor Spotlight: The Dorsey Family

The Dorseys have been a part of our family of donors since the beginning.

Dr. Archuleta’s relationship with the family began years ago, when he was the family pediatrician to Thomas and Cindy Dorsey’s three children. Today, the Dorsey children are grown and Dr. Archuleta is the family pediatrician to their granddaughter, Charlotte Grace.

“We knew Bob from way back, and what he put together with Noah’s Children seemed like such a great organization for Richmond,” Cindy explained. “It’s something we wanted to support, and we’ve been going to events since day one.”

Cindy and her son Thomas co-own Diamond Billiards, a family-friendly billiards club in Midlothian. Being a part of a family business gives her plenty of time with Charlotte Grace.

“I just love being a nana!” Cindy said. She then went on to say, “We’ve been very fortunate. Our business has done well over the years, so it feels good to be able to support Noah’s Children and be a part of everything Bob put together.”

Support from donors like the Dorsey family helps Noah’s Children continue to offer palliative and pediatric care to kids without charging for services. For more information about how you can help, please contact Peggy Wilson at the Bon Secours Richmond Health Care Foundation at (804).287.7700.
