Pam Dunn, RN, and Noah’s Children Nurse, joined Noah’s Children in August 2017. She brings an array of experience to Noah's Children. Originally from the San Francisco Bay area, she came to Richmond to study nursing and worked for many years in the pediatrics unit of St. Mary's Hospital, as well as in the pediatrics unit at Stanford University Medical Center.
After returning to the Richmond area, she rejoined St. Mary's as Pediatrics Nurse Manager and later helped to develop and manage The Get Well Place, a preschool which was founded to help provide care and services to chronically ill children. Following her work there, she switched to the field of medical sales for more than 20 years.
Pam describes joining Noah's Children as "a chance to work more from the heart." Pam is an empathetic listener and an advocate for the patients and families she serves. She sees it as a privilege to meet with patients and families and support them through difficult times.
Pam received her BSN from Medical College of Virginia. She also received a BA in Early Childhood Education, and BA in Therapeutic Recreation from California State University at Chico.
Outside of Noah’s, Pam has one daughter, who is also a nurse. Pam likes to read, travel, play golf, and attend Book Clubs with friends.
